Pyxis conducts Newspoll

Newspoll is published by The Australian, and has been contracted to Pyxis Polling since August 2023. Pyxis was selected by The Australian, Australia's only broadsheet newspaper, to continue the forty-year legacy of the nation's premier poll.

Michelle Gunn, editor-in-chief, expressed that Dr White’s appointment meant Newspoll would continue to be run by Australia’s most knowledgeable political pollster, stating:

"We are delighted that Dr White’s expertise and experience will continue to drive Newspoll and maintain its longstanding reputation as the most accurate and important poll of Australian politics and political issues".

Since this time, Pyxis has been consistently accurate in all tests of Newspoll’s performance, including at the Voice Referendum and final poll results within its margin of error at all state and federal elections. Newspoll is given the highest rating for accuracy by Australian poll aggregators.
